After the successful launch of our range of Bariatric Cushions we thought we would let people know that as British manufacturers we are also able to offer these cushions in other sizes outside of our stock items. Bariatric care is a very specialist area and is most definitely not one size fits all. We base our products around the needs of the customer so not only can we vary the depth of the foam but the proportions and types of foam within the cushion.
Our bariatric cushions have a base layer of firm reconstituted foam that is strong and maintains its shape to prevent it from bottoming out. The middle layer is made from a high density Putnam foam that offers great pressure distribution and maintain its properties for long lasting support. The top layer is made from our high quality Putnam Memory Foam for extra pressure relieving qualities and superior comfort.
We offer our Bariatric cushions in a waterproof material as standard but we can also provide an black velour cover or request. We have set some guide lines on the user weight limit of the product but cushions should always be assessed on an individual basis with the consultation of a medical professional.
